On November 18, 2005, at 4.00 p.m. at Ilia Chavchavadze National
Parliamentary Library of Georgia the enrichment of the state librarian
funds by the modern Armenian publications will be arranged. Organizers
of the event are planning to transfer about 400 books to the Library,
related to the issues of the History of Armenian Nation, the Armenian
Apostolic Holy Church, the Armenian genocide of the beginning of the
20th century in Ottoman Turkey, etc.
The event will be organized by the Armenian Cooperation Centre of
Georgia with the blessing of the Head of Diocese of Armenian Apostolic
Holy Church in Georgia, and in cooperation with Ilia Chavchavadze
National Parliamentary Library of Georgia and Armenian Association of
Political Scientists and International Law Specialists. The event is
dedicated to the 1600 anniversary of the Armenian alphabet
The collection and transferring of the books was realized with the
support of the Republican Party of Armenia, Institute of History of
Armenian National Academy of Science, State Management Academy of
Armenia and the publishing house “Zangak”.
The official ceremony of transfering the books to the Ilia Chavchavadze
National Parliamentary Library of Georgia will be held on November 18,
2005, at 4.00 p.m. at the following address: 7 Gudiashvili St., 0108,

building, 1 floor.
