RIGHTS IN EAST TIMOR: AN INTERVIEW WITH DANIEL PEREIRA
Daniel Pereira, a human rights practitioner from East Timor, attended the New
Asia Regional Training Workshop. We recently spoke with Daniel about his work
at the Kdadalak Sulimutuk Institute (KSI), a research organization specializing
in conflict transformation and action research. Daniel came to the workshop in
search of new tactics to address housing issues and land rights.

Human Rights Day Discussion - It's not too late to participate!
What does Human Rights Day mean to you? It's not too late to participate in the
Human Rights Day online discussion! As you may have read in our eNewsletter,
last week we launched an online discussion to commemorate International Human
Rights Day (December 10). Specifically, we'd like you discuss what this day
means to you and what you or your organization did to recognize the importance
of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
